RESCUE:New Beginnings Shih Tzu Rescue
BREED: Shih Tzu

Breed Description:

Shih Tzu come in a variety of color combinations; the most popular being gold & white or black & white. The typical Shih Tzu weighs between 8-16 lbs. The main identifying features of a well bred Shih Tzu are a small nose, large round eyes, a domed head, small body, long ears that blend into their hair which is very soft overall and most importantly a tail that curls up on their back. Since a lot of Shih Tzu can be mixed with another breed or be poorly bred; these don't always apply. They require regular grooming or their hair will become a matted mess. It must be kept out of the eyes to prevent eye damage.
