Breed Description:

Retired racing greyhounds are members of the sighthound family. They have been trained for 5000 years to chase anything that moves. They have keen eyesight and are built for speed. They average between 50-80 lbs. and 26-28" tall. They have a deep-chested, thin skinned, muscular physique. Greyhounds come in a wide variety of colors. All retired racers will be tattooed in both ears and registered with the National Greyhound Association.

We only accept retired racing greyhounds. We will accept "special needs" dogs on a case by case basis. We will not accept known actual biters.

Foster dogs are kept in qualified foster homes. We do not have kennel facilities.

Dogs are small animal tested before placement in foster homes. Foster homes provide a detailed foster dog profile to new adopters outlining the dog's personality and needs.
