Details about "DO YOU ACCEPT" responses:

Because of the vast amount of homeless labs, only purebreds are accepted. Any dog with a history of human aggression or biting is not accepted. Dog to dog aggression, special needs and medical conditions are considered on a case by case basis.

DESCRIBE HOUSING USED FOR RESCUES:

All dogs live in a foster home where they are given time to settle in. Based on what is observed in the foster home, the dog will then be placed in the most appropriate adoptive home. Basic obedience, crate training, housebreaking or reinforcing housebreaking, as well as socializing with other dogs, are among the functions of the foster home. We currently have a very limited amount of foster homes, therefore homeless shelter labs take first priority.

Details about "PROCEDURES" responses:

All dogs are fully vetted while in the foster home. Applicants are required to fill out an adoption application. If approved, then a home visit is done with all family members present. If that goes well, then begins the search for the right dog for the right family. All dogs are accepted back into rescue if for some reason the family can no longer keep it. Puppies as well as adults are sp/neut. prior to being adopted.

Rescue's policy regarding SHELTER FEES:

Shelter fees are considered on a case by case basis.
