Italian Greyhounds are sighthounds in minature and can range from 7 pounds to about 20 pounds. They are often "grey"(blue) in color but can come in a wide range of colors. They are often timid and afraid in a shelter environment.

WE TAKE ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS AND WHIPPETS ALSO. Many "igs" are very timid or skiddish and can even be fear biters WHEN in a shelter environment. We evaluate each dog prior to placement. We will take mixes if they look/act like an Italian Greyhounds. WE ALSO DO WHIPPET RESCUE THROUGH THE AMERICAN WHIPPET CLUB.
DESCRIBE HOUSING USED FOR RESCUES:

All dogs are placed in foster homes where crate training, socializing, housetraining, etc are worked on.
